CHARACTER
Name: Roxanne "Roxy" Lalonde
Canon: MS Paint Adventures: Homestuck
Timeline: After sending Jane her ~ath "Sburb" file, before pressing Jane into her failed confession to Jake. Oh, and before dropping a book on her cat, Frigglish.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A, but normally for playercest I just assume characters never came in contact with each other, through *shenanigans*.
Personality: Roxy is a lot like a stereotypical American girl, the kind that gets drunk and acts just slutty enough to get attention, and makes kissy faces at her camera that make her look like a duck. Of course, all of this is done for fun. She's very casual, curses often and tosses around sexual terms without hesitation. She's almost never seen without a martini in her hand, but even when drunk she's very sneaky, both in footwork and in personality. One of her favorite passtimes is getting information out of her friends, pairing them up, and the like.
Roxy's mother was a great writer, and it is because of this that Roxy is shown as a bit of a wizard fanatic, a cat person and a rather good scientist. She seems to work very hard to match up to the standards placed by her mother, who is now dead. Mostly though, she's worried that she will give in to tempation, laze out and come off as a valley girl, as she lives like royalty off the royalties of her mother's work. Her main hobby however, ectobiology, has gotten her quite far. She has semi-successfully cloned her cat Frigglish many times, resulting in a mass amount of petrified cat fetuses around her room. It's probable that she'll get it right very soon.
Roxy is a pretty good hacker, as well. She programs in ~ath (pronounced Til Death) coding, generally regarded to be the most confusing and dangerous programming language in the four known universes. She's known to pirate protected files off the internet, and plays presumably pirated video games on a variety of consoles that she otherwise stashes shamelessly in a corner of her room. Like her consoles, almost everything is colored like her eyes, light pink.
Roxy is alarmingly good at providing insights of the world around her, even knowing top-secret information about the conspiracies in the world, the evils of Sburb and Crockercorp, and has even mentioned Betty Crocker's identity as an "overlard sea queen", despite it being vertually unknown that BC has any connection to the empress of Alternia, Her Imperial Condescension. Of course, most of her knowledge is rather far-out to those minions of the post-scratch Earth, leaving her to be written off as a drunken conspiricist.
When it comes to friendship, Roxy is rather clingy. She likes to make sure her best friends are there for her through thick and thin, and that they'll be okay when all is said and done for her to drag off to go clubbing. Although she's a little crazy, she is rather selfless and cares more about making sure her friends are happy than dealing with her own choices. This is proven when she discovers Jane's crush on Jake and, disregarding her own crush, decides to completely friendzone Jake to clear the pathway. In the ways of love, Roxy is inexperienced and she knows it, and doesn't seem to mind. Although she knows her destiny is to be with Dirk, she is waiting for the right man to come along. And although she's flirtateous with basically anyone, she's still not completely sure how far she can go in a relationship. All the same, what she has figured out is that she's probably straight, and that age doesn't mean a thing to her.

Third Person:Roxy stumbled off the train, sloshing a good portion of her current martini onto the ground in the process. As she steaded herself she pulled her iPhone out of her pocket, relieved to see it was unharmed. A quick check through her sylladex told her that was still on her, too. But as she looked around, nothing else seemed to be familiar. She'd been in her room until a while ago, preparing to enter a fenestrated plane. Now what.
She took a few stumbling steps from the station, quickly regaining her balance after some work. Even a drunk can orient themselves if they work hard enough. And this place, it couldn't possibly be part of the game. Not only was the city drab and boring, but nothing bad was happening. So this couldn't be in.
She held up her phone in a circle, but no reception picked up. Oh yeah, the game should have unlimited wireless and power to everything. With a sigh, she searched her pockets, and found a watch. "Some sorta... devicy thingy? F'r commuminacating?" She looked through it and pressed random buttons, and that seemed to be it. Well, at least now she knew how to contact her friends.
Roxy sat back from her computer, giggling. This Janey x Jake x Strider business was just way too much fun to mess with. With a glance around simply for fun, knowing her mother was nowhere in sight, she took a sip from her glass, with sneakiness mostly for Frigglish's entertainment. Not that her cat particularly cared, but it was fun to pretend.
As she got up from her seat, she glanced back at her computer and nearly fell over the chair jumping up to double-check. Oh, so it wasn't her ennebriation... inebriation... however that's spelled, it didn't matter. What did matter was the message sent to her by Jane.
"Oh no. No no no." she bit her lip, "Janeeeeyyyyyy... don't open the game, don't do it... oh jesus." Why did she have to send over that virus file? Her second thoughts on it were coming much too late. With a mumble, she sipped her martini and tried to remain as innocent-looking as possible. Lalala, she just probably killed her friend by accident, nothing to see here, ladies and gentlemen.... "What're you lookin' at, Figgish? I mean Frigglish."
